## Why

Projects deepen via GitHub. Local Stage deepens **on this computer**: pick a folder, preview a file, save a copy — in the browser when File System Access is available; honest download/open fallback when it is not. See build output without requiring GitHub. No Terminal as step one.

## Verbs

## Fallbacks

- No File System Access → calm copy + multi-file `<input type="file" multiple>` / download link
- Unsupported browser → still usable via file picker + Save as HTML / download
- Never pretend GitHub is required for local preview

1. Open FreeLattice (`app.html` / the garden app).
2. Open the **Workshop** tab.
3. Tap **Local Stage** — beside Create · Code · Projects.
4. Pick folder · Preview · Save copy · Stop. Help-on-file sits beside the preview.
