## Why

Honesty wins when deception's per-round gain is smaller than detection times (immediate penalty + discounted lost reputation). Derived. Simulated. Honest about where it fails (end games, scarcity, anonymous one-shots). Not the Nov 2025 *Proof of All Proofs* v3.0 manuscript.
